G.A.T.E. stands for ‘Government Assistance for Tuition Expenses’
What is G.A.T.E.?
Tuition fees are partially funded by the government for students who qualify for G.A.T.E. The Ministry of Education will pay 50% of the tuition fees for a G.A.T.E. Approved Programme and the student will be required to pay the balance of the programme fees. G.A.T.E. is managed by the Funding and Grants Administration Unit of the Ministry of Education (M.O.E.). Which programmes are G.A.T.E. Approved?
G.A.T.E Approved programmes include:
- Level 3 Diploma in Engineering IVQ – Electrical and Electronic Engineering (2850-90)
- Level 3 Diploma in Engineering IVQ – Maintenance, Installation and Commissioning (2850-88)
